I'm pretty sure these are the first images from Flushed Away:

So, they're keeping to Nick Park's style... kind of a relief, when I heard that Aardman was doing a CGI movie about rats, I had visions of Ice Age.

Hope the film is up to the standards of the last two. Already it's picked up the "Pixar rip-off" stigma over at the IMDB boards.

"We scruffed up the film and added wonky imperfections."

Yes, but I do wonder if it'll be able to keep that tactile, physical objects, essence to it that Aardman's characters usually have as CG.

Hmm, I jst watched the teaser trailer on the official movie site, and it looks pretty good . . . for CG.

*laughs* I almost got fooled into thinking it was still stop-motion animation (but it still kind of is, right?)!

So far, so good . . .

Well, the IMDB boards have changed their tune. They've gone from this:

I believe Dreamworks has once again ripped Pixar (who is making Ratatouille). They are notorious for ripping off Pixar, so its no suprise. Next thing you know they'll be coming out with The Super Family *rolleyes*

to this:

First, Dreamworks ripped off Pixar's movies. Now, since there hasn't been a Pixar film in a while, they're ripping off Wallace and Gromit!!!!

The art-style is exactly like the claymation used for Wallace and Gromit. Look at the eyes and noses. And they also all have British accents!!!!!

Must Dreamworks always copy the ideas and art-styles of others?
