hehe, sorry but I'm SO excited...
my parents and sister are travelling from Vancouver to eastern Washington today to bring home our new puppy... a four month old, black lab mix named Gizmo... he's a rescue dog, hence he's a bit older/bigger than a pet store puppy and already has a name... strictly speaking this is my sister's dog and will be staying in her basement suite at my parents place... but we haven't had a dog in the family since mine died five years ago.

I wanted to go with them, but I have to go to work... hehe, not like I'm going to be getting anything done today. :D

ahh... Cute, (just don't feed him after midnight:P ).

I've just got a new niece yesterday, making me an uncle three times over. Haven't seen her yet though.:(

Awww . . . *dies in all of teh cuteness*

That is just adorable . . . and I'm not really much of a dog person (Cats rule. ^_^). He's such a cutie!

okay, so I haven't posted any off-topic pics of our puppy since February so I think I'm entitled to a little puppy 'spam'--at least now and then... :D

Gizmo got his Christmas present early and we all just about died from the cuteness. I'm not usually keen on dogs in clothes--his foster mom was the one who put him in the sweater in the first pic--but I did like the idea of our black dog being a little more visible on those dark, rainy walks. This is him and my sister.

(we now return you to your regularly scheduled animated programming...)

It's soooo cute. I am a definite dog person, but my mom won't let me have a dog. And a dragon? That would not go with my mom or the dragon!

Gizmo looks like a sweetie! :)

Gizmo is such as sweetie. We were so lucky considering we basically adopted him from a photo through the internet. He's this incredible combination of being just playful enough to be entertaining--and to win the hearts of both of my reserved parents--but mellow enough to happily settle down if there's no one to play with him.

That's actually the funniest thing I have ever seen with any dog... he'll come out to see what's going on, sometimes he'll get a little playtime... but then he might discover we're busy doing whatever to really do much with him, so he'll go back downstairs, (where he and my sister have their suite at my parents place), pick up a bone or a toy to bring upstairs... then just settle in nearby whatever we happy to be doing... Giz wants to be part of the action, but at the same time has this amazingly self-sufficient personality.

hehe... not that he's perfect however. He did manage to crunch my father's $6000 hearing aids. The fact that Dad didn't kill him immediately afterwards is a testament to his super-dog cuteness powers.

Is that you in the picture with Gizmo with a jacket, or is that someone else?

...or is that someone else?

:thud: As athena said four posts before yours -

This is him and my sister.

I think it's safe to say that it Athena's sister then.

Starlac is correct, that would be my sister Angela and Gizmo.

Unfortunately my apartment does not allow pets so I have to content myself to weekend visits with Giz.

Yeah. Your sister is pretty. I like her smile.

(BTW, I can't meet her, like, EVER, so, don't worry)
