The page discusses Wikipedia's policy towards webcomics, but it would seem to apply to web animation as well. Back when I first became an editor and had already added my personal favourites, I pretty much copied and pasted Wikipedia's list of Flash cartoons (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Flash_cartoons) to my "to-add" list. Looking back, a number of the cartoons I profiled have since vanished from WP...
