I would like to see the short "Father and Daughter" being added to Keyframe. It's a dutch/english co-production which features a father that rows his boat across a big lake (or could be the ocean, but I kinda doubt that considerd the last scenes) with his little daughter waiting at the shore. After the day has passed, he didn't came back, so the daughter rides her bike back home. Then she's shown how she always comes back to the shore to see if her father has returned. The years come and go and finally the daughter has become an old woman...
I'm not going to ruin the ending so I'm stopping here. "Father an Daughter" is a great film with such an emotional impact that it always makes me cry. It's just so powerful. Anyone seen it?

I haven't seen it but I found a clip from it on the AWN (http://www.awn.com/oscars01/animfather.php3) Oscar showcase site when I was assembling stuff for the profile.

The profile for Father and Daughter (http://keyframeonline.com/Animation/Father_and_Daughter/526/) is now up.

I just wanted to confirm though, there's no dialogue in the film, correct? That was the impression I got from AWN but IMDb is listing a cast credit.

Also, do you know if it's available on any DVD collections?

No, there's no dialogue in this short.

Sorry, I don't know if it's available on any DVD collection. I saw it when it was aired in TV during a three-hour-short-film-marathon. ;)
