Spicy City

An adult animated TV series about various characters living in a futuristic city, it was directed and produced by Ralph Bakshi. Anybody heard of it or seen it ? I recently found 2 episodes at the official Ralph Bakshi forum.

I saw 6 eps of this on video in the late 90's. Discounting 'The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse', which many think is the peak of his career, and which I haven't seen, I thought this was an improvement over anything ihe'd done since the 70's, but still only so-so, really. Sort of like a cross between the feel of 'Heavy Traffic' and 'Bladerunner'. Some eps were either co-written or directed by his son, from memory. Put it this way, it gave me some hope that he wasn't washed up, but I haven't bothered seeking them out to watch them again.
