While I was searching for information for all these Astroboy titles I'm adding, I found out Genndy Tartakovsky is doing a theatrical version.

btw, did you come across any Astroboy fansites? I'm completely dry on images... the only thing I can add right now are the DVD set covers.

I've got zip on Astroboy fansites. But maybe there's one dedicated to Osamu somewhere out there.

The 2003 incarnation already has a DVD box set, so there should be some pictures out there. I didn't even know there was an 80s version, let alone seen it. But now I'm interested.

I don't know about fansites. However, since I have both the 80's and 2003 series on DVD here are two snapshots I've taken. Both are of Astro and regular nemesis Altas. Both are 200x133 in size. I don't really have anything for the 1963 version though.

I'm still working on getting some other ones done (have tons of caps, just haven't gotten them into properly sized jpeg format yet)

I don't think you have to worry too much about Tartarovsky destroying Astroboy with an all CGI film...he is a MASSIVE animation geek, and I imagine will keep it pure.....well, pure-ish!!
