Madagascar was the top selling DVD of 2006 (the reporting period includes Christmas 2005 but not Christmas 2006).
It's interesting how the listing is put together. "Full screen" DVDs of both Madagascar and Narnia are listed separately. Why? To prove that people really prefer widescreen and the studios should stop bastardizing their movies on DVD?
If the actual numbers were given, would Narnia's #2 and #5 entries actually top Madagascar's #1 and #6? Why would people buy more 4:3 reductions of Narnia, a more visualy rich film than Madagascar?
