hey, welcome to the site. :)
I thought I'd try and help you guys out by providing a profile for the show.

I noticed the episode length was 10 minutes and I wanted to know if this show was aired as part of another show or if it was aired between shows?

thanks and best of luck with your campaign. I'm always pleasantly surprised by the power of fandom... if you ever have any doubt, just look at "Firefly"--failed TV show with 11 episodes gets major motion picture... not bad for a ragtag group of rabid fans. :charge:

Hi,

Thanks, the more details on the net, the better!

We are spreading the word, forum posts are getting views, but the petition count still remains low :(

The episodes are indeed approx. 10mins each, they are cartoons and are programs in their own right.

They were broadcast originally Christmas 1999 during CBBC so they were amongst other cartoons in the children's slot.

More information can be found here:

http://www.thebigknights.net - (See the information pages for info on awards the programmes won, the technology behind it, cast, characters, etc.)

The Big Knights began on terrestrial television at 12:45 Sunday 19th December 1999 on BBC1. It is a 13 part animated comedy series about the adventures of two knights and their pets. Brian Blessed and David Rintoul provided the voices for the two knights although there were many other guest voice overs.

Any help is much appreciated, especially petition signatures FROM ANYONE AT ALL!

P.s - A feature film would be great! But I think we may be hoping for a little too much going that far!!!

Did it air outside the UK? I'm in Canada and unfortunately I've never heard of it... although there are shows airing across the border in the US that I've never heard of either.

Anyways, there's now a profile up on Keyframe with a link to your petition at the bottom. I hope you'll consider writing up a review for it. :)

Thanks, that is great.

I'll certainly write a review for it.

All I know is that it certainly aired in Australia, presumably on a BBC related channel, because there seems to be a good amount of supporters of the show from there.

Finally got round to writing a review for The Big Knights, how to I read reviews? There is no link where it says '1 review'?

P.S. Have you signed the petition yet athena? ;)
