I can't help feeling this will result in a lot of 4 star reviews which will distort what would otherwise be the 'natural' average of the series. Is anyone going to try and win the competition with a 2-star review? I've just seen it on other forums. You ask people to review something to win a prize and they rarely have anything bad to say about it.

As long as it's a well-written two star review, I suppose. I'm not exactly sure of the specifics of the contest. Maybe writing a review is just a raffle ticket. Maybe not. Of course. What if somebody who hates the show wins? XD At any rate, the profile is pulling in an amazing amount of traffic. Far more than any other animated show.

I'll defend my favorite feverishly like any good fan. But I also respect other people's opinion. However, I feel it truly is the most remarkable cartoon to come along in quite a while. Even more remarkable considering it comes from Nick.

And no offense, but I kind of agree with lupercal's thoughts on this contest. It's almost like a stunt to get a lot of easy reviews for a new show. But it's all good to me. One more review for my list of reviews . . . . *needs to write some more*

Well I think one review for Avatar a person is probably enough for the contest... but I second what Toonboy said, please feel free to check out all the other profiles on the site--all 495 of them and counting... when we aren't doing something like this contest, the reviews help weed out the best in animation from the rest... as illustrated by Keyframe's Top 5's (http://www.keyframeonline.com/Top5/).

Should Bambi be rated the best animated feature on Keyframe?
Should Dinosaur be rated the worst?

This isn't related to the contest, but it thankfully looks like the DVDs are being released one after the other. I saw a commercial on Nick, and Volume 2 is being released in March. *is hoping it's bigger than number 1* At least that's a shorter waiting period than most DVD collections.

Thanks for the tip. I was able to find it on Amazon and add it to the profile. The release date will be March 28th.

No technical info for Vol. 2 on Amazon yet, but I wouldn't bet on it being any longer than Vol.1... it's been my experience that DVD sets tend to be uniform in their "lameness"... I'm guessing they'll spread season 1 across five volumes in total...
