I had an animation teacher who worked on this film and had such an axe to grind when it came to mocap. We were regularly treated to lectures on what a horrible, evil thing Polar Express was and how, if we weren't careful, all of us animators would one day become nothing bot mocap clean-up artists...
...and then we'd lose our SOUL...
