I'm so amused by the highlight pic on the homepage for this profile... I never watch the show, but Ming totally looks like one of those Klingons from the original Star Trek series. :lol:

Which of course, doesn't help the resemblance to Klingon kind. Ming originally was somewhat Asian in appearance.

Cause he was one of the original space villains, so he made have had an influence on the design of others.

I think when Flash was created, the 'yellow menace' styled bad guy was popular, such as Fu Man Chu and The Yellow Claw, but as we became, as a culture LESS rascist, he has changed to a more 'unearthly appearance'...
