Kimba The White Lion DVD Set on sale today!

The Region 1 Kimba The White Lion Ultra Edition Box Set goes on sale today. All 52 episodes, visuals restored using licensed orignal materials from Tezuka Productions. Nice disk of extras including the first episode in Japanese with English subtitles (this one underwent the most editing for American release). I've been telling people they can trash any and all Kimba DVDs they bought in the past because these are that much better than anything that's been released before. Yes, I have seen them. My review:

I'm a big fan of Tezuka's works! yay.

Now if only the USA could re-release the Unico movies . . . . and the rest of the Kimba series . . .

Then I would be a happy kid.

The Kimba box set contains the entire series (but not the first or pilot version of the first episode). If by "rest of the Kimba series" you mean Leo The Lion, I'd like to see THAT series added to Keyframe so that we can put out some info on it.
