A question that came through email from our newest user, roygg9. Welcome Roy. :)

I don't see a way to post on the website. (I have only recently registered). The question I wanted to post was some identifying information about animation film festival (I think all from Eastern Europe)and from the late 60's or early 70's.
One of them had as title or motif "Insomnia" I think it was from Poland. It depicted a guy in bed trying to get to sleep but he was anxious and chainsmoking. There was a sinister red sheep glaring at him at the foot of his bed. Another, possibly from Czechoslovakia, depicted in minimalist style in black and white a little guy was excited about planting a tree. There was no dialogue as such, just noises and gestures. People came by to ridicule the little guy's project & each time he would explain how wonderful it was going to be, depicting its growth with gestures. But as each skeptic came by, gradually the little guy's enthusiasm is dampened, until finally he leaves the site, despondent. After he leaves and there's nothing there, suddenly the seed sprouts and grows in to a marvelous multi-colored tree.
Another has the title or motif of "The Question" A guy goes around every place with a question mark in his hand searching for the Answer. At the end he meets up with a woman who becomes his sweetheart. They both have question marks in their hand. They put them together to form a heart. Unbearably cute.

Athena, thanks for your prompt response in posting my query about the animation features. However, although I did find this reply function, I still don't see where to go to post from scratch.
