Footrot Flats: the Dog's Tale (sorry, neither [] or <> seems to be able to make that into a link) was released in Australia yesterday on DVD, with commentary by Murray Ball and various extras. It's been hard to find on VHS for years, so this was a somewhat surprising development. I've noticed it being marketed at kids in the local newspaper, without, I presume, the editor considering that the film is 18 years old, and none of the kids reading the paper would know what the heck it was.
Anyway, available from most online Australian DVD stores or ebay. You'll need to be able to play region 4 and PAL obviously, but I've already had Americans email me asking me to get them a copy.
