Wow Loop... I think that's the first CG film I've seen you give more than 2 stars to. I seem to recall you even bounced Incredibles which I was totally in love with when it came out.

I guess I know what I'm renting this weekend... ;)

Actually I know I gave 4 stars to both the Toy Story movies, and Jakers! (the TV series), 3.5 to Antz, and 3 stars to Monsters Inc, Shrek, and Bugs Life. But yeah, it's 7 years since a cgi got this high a rating from me.

That's not very well put: the last cgi move which rated as highly as this with me was made in 1999.

I am very surprised also Loop. Over the hedge looks like another CGI crapfest to me but I may actaully take at it look now.

I REALLY agree with what you said about human animation. Very blocky and stiff looking eh?

Thanks. Apart from the humans animation, I really thought this was a very good movie. My expectations for Dreamworks are very low, but I don't think that accounts for it.

I've got Polar Express here. I'm expecting that to be rubbish based on reviews I've read, so we'll be able to test that theory, I suppose.
