Before this place was re-vamped and re-modeled, the only way we Keyframers could really communicate was through our reviews. There are plenty of great reviews on this site...smart ones, funny ones, nasty ones, strange ones. Can anyone think of some reviews that stand out?
For starters, I had a blast reading lupercal's review on Balloon Land. (Click here to read) (http://keyframeonline.com/Reviews/Balloon_Land/469/1/) While I've never seen it, I'm convinced that this short film has got to be one of the strangest, most disturbing things ever made for children's eyes. I think it's hilarious that somebody actually created it.

Personally I've always been a big fan of all of Lupercal's reviews... they're funny, insightful and often just PACKED with extra information... putting them in the 'review' section is almost deceptive given how much stuff is in them.
There was one review... which unfortunately we lost during the 2003 update from HTML site to database... a guy describing his first experience with Fox and the Hound (http://keyframeonline.com/Animation/The_Fox_and_the_Hound/107/)... personally I hadn't been that impressed with the film but the moving way in which he wrote this review really made me stop and re-consider it.
I'm at work as I write this, but I'll see if I can dig it out of my hard drive archives when I get home.

I think you're probably talking about my friend. I've lost contact with him too. I still have his email address, though, so if I can one day get him to respond, I'll point out this new revamped Keyframe and see if I can get him to review again. We both consider this movie our favorite and one of Disney's best and most underrated.
