It involves a 19-25mb download of the installer, registration with DAZ, and another 25mb download of materials and objects. (Mac users may have to remove the x from the .sitx file to get it to open...and don't worry, the Objects/Materials download works on both platforms, even if it says Windows on it!)
Bryce is a 3D rendering program which specializes in making realistic outdoor scenes. It's got animation capabilities, and limited object-creation tools, though is not a modelling program.
Most importantly, it's fun to play with--get it free while you can!
