I saw this posted on AnimationNation this morning... for those of you who don't want to give up the idea of doing 2D but aim to move it into a new era...

I love the animation bar stuck to it for no purpose other than pure nostalgia.

I've got a WACOM tablet, but I've never really mastered using it... too many years using a mouse I think.

I would love to have something like that... if only.

I got a tablet pretty soon after I tried one, I found using it infinity more easy to draw with than my mouse. Unfortunately the one I could afford wasn't amazing, the cheapish pen broke and I had to buy another one. :irked: Apart from that it does the job well enough, least until such time as when I can afford a decent sized WACOM.

Good olde ACME peg bars, still the best for the olde physical work. :D

I've probably posted this at some point before, but this is my setup (http://pics.livejournal.com/wynnara/pic/0000g7rf/g10?.f=1) in my apartment... we bought the animation disc in the states and my father built the rest based on the design of the desks at school... the only difference is it's a little shorter so I can more easily reach the paper trays from my wheelchair.

Even though I don't really do 2D animation since I left school, it is still fantastic as a drawing table.

Have I ever shown you my cheap homemade animation table? (http://home.earthlink.net/~inkwolf/animation/animationdesk6.html) (Not that I've actually used it much...I'm more a wanna-be than a wanna-do.)

And here's how I made it... (http://home.earthlink.net/~inkwolf/animation/animationdesk.html)
