I think it'll be good from the previews I've seen. But you know that old saying: "Don't judge a movie by it's preview!"

I voted the last option. :D Why on earth did they even make it?

Hmm . . . . I'd like to see it. From what I've seen of the trailers and sneaks and even the behind the scenes previews and whatnot, it looks like a formitable opponent for the weekend box office.

I'm kind of neutral on this one (I actually read a review about the movie on Yahoo, but be warned: it had spoilers for certain events that happen in the film). I think it has the makings of a great film, and heck, maybe it'll get no. 1 in the box office for its debut weekend, but I don't think it'll be that good.

Animation wise: it looks like something straight from Dreamworks or Pixar. Story wise: It sounds predictable. Voice wise: Nice choice for the cast. I like the sound of the different characters.

*yawn*

Gah, I'm confused. *goes straight to sleep*

on the topic of Disney CG, I am liking the look of Rapunzel Unbraided (http://www.disneypowerboard.com/index.php?showtopic=518&st=30&#entry16953)... still a ways away but the art looks great.

It's not doing so hot at Rotten Tomatoes, but Tv Guide likes it.

I've only seen the promotional stills, but the central character looks utterly hideous, like some deformed escapee from a North Korean Kinder Surprise factory. I won't even be contemplating watching this movie. If the outcome of its success is more of the same style animation from Disney, I hope it sinks them for good.

The critics may not appreciate it, but many of the users on R.T. do. There's only on negative review there.

That's a hell of a gap.

Jay Sherman, where are you?

I haven't seen it, and I'm not planning on seeing it. The preview was enough to keep me away. From it alone I could tell that Disney tried too hard to please EVERYONE.

And by the non-obviously-paid-for-by-Disney reviews I've seen so far, it sounds like I made the right evaluation.
