Just wondering whether it's worth listing the internet only flash episodes of 'The Critic'. They are on the DVD, but you can probably still find them on the web.

I also moved Bozzetto's 'Europe and Italy' from 'short films' to 'web animations', and thought some of the other Bozzetto shorts (like 'yes and no') could get a listing. That is unless 'web animation' is only for series, not one-shots. I think I argued something like that when we defined the criteria, but I didn't have this sort of film in mind at the time. If that's the case I'll move it back.

Yeah, we've been listing both series and one-shots in the category. I never saw the original critic, so it might be best for one of the other editors to deal with the Flash episodes.

As for Bozzetto, well, right now I'm keeping to a one-profile-per-director/studio rule of thumb to make sure the category has enough variety early on, although that's just a personal rule so if anyone else wants to add Bozzetto's other shorts they're free to do so.

You never saw..... ah, now I don't feel so bad about never seeing the Beatles.

Well my problem is my browser won't play flash, so if someone else can point me to a URL I'll happily do it, since I have the flash episodes on both VHS and DVD.

Yeah, I'm torn a bit between attitude

a) spread it around
b) just go for it

In the case of theatrical shorts there are so many that we will never cover them all, so I'm inclining towards a 'post a whole bunch of one type, so long as you post a bunch of another later' philosophy. I mean, I've put a total of 3 Popeye shorts up out of a total of God knows - 400+? Should I feel bad if I put up a few more?

With feature films, obviously the tendency is more towards exhaustiveness. We have ALL the Disney features, (nearly) all the Ralph Bakshi's, etc. Because these guys were auters, and you would expect us to be completist. But I would say Bozzetto is an auteur as well, so I'd be inclined to list all his flash animations. Now, if that means putting them back under 'short films'... I dunno. Whatever. I think there should be more Bozzetto, though.

One thing I do know: the more stuff we have, the better, and the less likely that it matters how much we have of a), b) or c).
