I hate to bring this up (and part of me wonders if someone else has), just blame it on the pedantic side of my nature, but the following occurred to me between my writing my reviews of Lilo and Stitch and yet to be finished reviews of Fantasia 2000 and Dumbo.

It’s just that the Carnival of Animals sequence (the flamingo with the yo-yo one) of Fantasia 2000 used watercolored backgrounds throughout its (I'll admit) short length.

Of course going with the fact that Disney's projects take years to be made and released (and F:2K took longer than normal, since it was made during lulls at the studios between films), it could be that Lilo and Stitch's backgrounds had alreadly been painted; yet it was released before Lilo and Stitch.
