(apart from videos, DVDs, obviously)

This was inspired by Athena's reminiscences about her He-Man and She-Ra dolls.

What thingies have you ever bought relating to things in our database?

I have owned, or still own:

A Roger Rabbit keychain, PVC figure, two roger plushes , and two large framed posters of Jessica and Roger (one cost over $100 in 1988), as well as one for 'Tummy Trouble', plus a few posters I can't exactly remember.

Two PVC figurines of Brain from Inspector Gadget

Plush Meeko from 'Pocohontas', Duchess from 'Aristocats', Jenna and Balto from 'Balto', Dog from 'Footrot Flats', Kiba from 'Wolf's Rain', and a couple from '101 Dalmatians' (I forget who they are)

PVC figures of Balto, Steele, Boris and Muk and Luk from Balto, and Sasha, Charlie and Itchy from 'All Dogs go to Heaven 2'

About 7 or 8 storyboards from 'Balto'.

A signed sketch of Charlie by Don Bluth

About 8 Footrot Flats T-shirts or sweaters. Also drink coasters, calenders, doorhangers, beer mugs, posters, soap, shampoo, talc, and about 10 different coffee mugs. Plus heaps more (basically I'm a Footrot Flats collector)

Kimba the white Lion... what would you call it? A plastic setting thing that you assemble.

I forgot my 1971 Wile E. Coyote plush

The Jungle Book soundtrack LP. Also Footrot Flats, Balto, ADGTH2, Secret Squirrel and Morroco Mole (Ok, that's not in our database)

Graphic novel of 'Spartakus and the Sun Beneath the Sea', plus all the Asterix books up to when I got sick of them (though in that case the films were really merchandising from the books)

Kimba wall clock

Animals of Farthing Wood wall clock

Original cinema posters from 'The Secret of NIMH' and 'Wizards'

Video posters for 'Balto' and 'Bambi'

Pepe le Pew cookie jar

That's all I can think of now, but I know there's more. Of course, not all of these are things tht I still have, but a substantial number are.

Currently own

Large and small Stitch plush

Small plush of Tigger, Thumper and Flower

Oh my... hmm...
I have a fair amount of merchandise but I would also say I'm pretty fussy about what I buy...

I have a dozen plus Disney mugs... this started back when I was living in residence at university and I need kitchenware so I bought a couple mugs from the Disney store...

http://i2.ebayimg.com/01/i/07/00/db/68_1.JPG

As the years went by I bought a few more and a few more... getting increasingly pickier about which ones I wanted in my collection... all of them are the same wrap-around scene style, all of them have nice art--there was a period when some of the mugs being made had thick bulky lines and I didn't buy those... and then after a time Disney decided to stop making them entirely and I've picked up a couple nice ones off of eBay...

I have the red Mulan poster (http://keyframeonline.com/Buy/Mulan/71/) on my bedroom wall, which I think is a stunning design and one of the better ones Disney ever made... I also have a nice Anastasia poster (http://keyframeonline.com/Buy/Anastasia/18/), (the non-cheesy looking one on the bottom left of that page)... these posters are part of my much larger movie poster collection which includes Star Wars, Romeo + Juliet, Narnia, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean... generally I pick my posters based on the 'art factor'--not necessarily whether I liked the movie or not.

I have an animation cel signed by Chuck Jones from the movie, "Stay Tuned" -- a Christmas present from my sister this past year.

I have a few plush... a set of small plush of Disney's seven dwarves from Disneyland... kind of a funny story with that... I was 11 at the time and had saved up some money to do my shopping at Disneyland. I decided I wanted to get the dwarves but couldn't afford them all with the money I had, so I bought three and was quite pleased with my purchase. My grandmother, who is Thai, barely speaks english and had never seen Snow White before looked at my new toys when we got back to the hotel... my mother explained what they were and her reaction was, "oh, but there's supposed to be seven of them?"... the next day she went back and bought the remaining four. Obviously grandmothers are great. :D

I also have a Nala plush from many years ago and a Stitch plush which I bought before having seen the movie... just cause he was so cute.

...and yea, probably other stuff too which I can't remember off the top of my head. :P

speaking of merchandise, this is the one mug that I want that I have yet to be able to buy... a black Disney villians mug (http://cgi.ebay.com/Black-Disney-Villians-Mug-Over-30-Villians-Never-used_W0QQitemZ6622829837QQcategoryZ13843QQcmdZView Item#ebayphotohosting)... limited edition, sold only in Disneyland...

very rare, never seem to find one selling on eBay when I look...

I bought this in late 1997 at a Warner store, I think it was in San Diego. I'd seen one about 6 months earlier in San Francisco but couldn't think of a way to get it home, but this time I thought the hell with it.

As, I gather, the Warner stores later closed down, this is probably worth a small fortune, at least where I live.
