Ahoi hoi,

If anyone has an interest in videogames, you should check out the escapist`s Zero Punctuation. He reviews games at breakneck speeds and is accompanied by a little animation. The animation is a bit frugal but its as funny as hell. Not for the kids tho.

Well I enjoyed them to an extent, although I don’t see eye-to-eye with his opinions on certain games, I do respect them. Of course anyone who likes the old Dizzy games and more modern lost classics like Psychonauts is someone who is on the right side of generally good in my book.

Then of course I loved this part from the video “answering” the hate mail about his Super Smash Bros. Brawl video…

“…I do point out every little thing that’s bad about a game, but then I’m a critic, it’d be weird if I didn’t…”

Oh yeah, half of the whole point of being a reviewer and/or critic, summed up in one sentence (the other half concerned with finding the good aspects of said game, if any). Think I use that as a temporary sign.

Of course while he may not like the game himself, I know that for me and my friends it’ll be great. We will have a lot of fun making Mario and company beat each other up, even if I’ll have to spend hours unlocking every darn thing.
