I imagine Matt Stone is right on the money. If Hayes was going to be offended by something as basic as religion, how the hell did he last for 9 years in SP?

This news is just defuddeling. I guess it hurts when it hits home?

I suppose South Park will probably handle Chef's leaving/voice change with its usual grace.

I'm almost surprised that South Park hasn't made fun of Scientology long before now... Tom Cruise's recent behaviour just screams satire to me...

What I don't understand is how there can be so many famous people out who believe in it. Is it something that only attracts celebrities?

I'm almost surprised that South Park hasn't made fun of Scientology long before now... In one news article I read it says that they deliberately held back from doing Scientology in order to protect Hayes' feelings. I never had him pegged as such a whiney-ass (although I hadn't really known all that much about him).

Who knows. It may even be a stunt to let Hayes out of his contract, for whatever reason. Why'd it take him so long to get around to complaining?

Is it something that only attracts celebrities?Based on the one person I know personally who tried it, it only attracts nut cases--A group that has "celebrities" as a subset.
