I'm rather excited about the fact that Disney is FINALLY getting back to 2D. :p

I'm also delighted (and apprehensive) about Disney's first black protagonist (about time, too. And no, Mowgli doesn't count.) Jazz era New Orleans sounds like the recipe for some fun to me. Hope it isn't filled with cliches and stereotypes...and that they resist the urge to add rap music.

Another interesting thing that's come to my attention is the upcoming live action/2d film, Enchanted. It apparently has a typical Disney animated beginning, and then the toon characters get transported magically into the real world...where they continue to act like toons.

There's a Trailer here. (http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1809426456/trailer)

It doesn't look drop-dead funny or anything (actually it does, at 2:45 AM when I'm typing this), but might be a fun watch. No idea if they end up back in Toonland at the end.

A friend of a co-worker is apparently the original writer, so I'll probably go see it.

I'll admit to being all girlie when it comes to Enchanted as my primary reason for seeing it will be swoon-factor of Patrick Dempsey.

I'm glad too that 2D is coming back to Disney, 'cause I grew with the 2D Classics and I'll always love them...I mean 3D's great and all but it's fascinating as 2D

Oh! I just got back from the theater a couple of hours ago. "Enchanted" wasn't bad at all. The theater was totally packed and the audience(mostly people my age and plenty of adults too) seemed really into the movie. I think you and anybody else should go see it.

I'm excited that Disney is going back to 2D. I miss those a lot. And I think it's such a great idea to (finally) have a Disney princess with African roots. I agree that being set in the Jazz Age of America does spell fun.

I just saw Enchanted which was fantastic AND drop dead funny. Tons better then the trailer makes it look.

And I'm looking forward to "Princess and the Frog" (I like the "Frog Princess" title better <_< ).
