Just got my latest shipment from Amazon... Miyazaki's stuff is so expensive locally that even with the shipping it was cheaper to get Nausicaa and Porco Rosso online.

I also just got "The Cracking Collection"--a 2 disc set with the three Wallace & Gromit shorts and the new movie. I can finally toss my aging VHS of the Wrong Trousers--hehe, my fault it's aging though since I bought it used. ;) Still, I'm making a concentrated effort to replace VHS tapes with DVDs... if only because I'm rapidly running out of shelf space and DVDs take up less space than tapes.

hehe. I'll admit I'm a little crazy when it comes to DVDs... but I figure I don't buy lots of clothes, I don't have car payments or house payments... what else would I want to spend my money on? :D

I've just got volume three of Looney Tunes: Golden Collection and volume one of Mickey Mouse: in color in addition to the ones I had before.

I collected a lot of DVD's while I was studying animation, more than half of them are animated in some way. It would take a lot of space to them.

I know how you guys feel. (My most recent animated purchase was Lady and the Tramp SE. Probably this week I'll get either Howl's Moving Castle or the new My Neighbor Totoro. Yes, I love Miyazaki too!)

I'm more of the anime fan, so many of my DVDs are anime (series, Miyazaki, some other good stuff like that). The other animated DVDs are either My Little Pony, Disney films, or other interests (like Balto, rare films that are forgotten, etc.).

I think I'll be buying a new DVD rack pretty soon. ^__^

I picked up the rerelease of Lady & the Tramp last week along with a copy of Disney's Alice in Wonderland. Besides Disney films, I have all of the Pixar films on DVD, the two Shreks, Iron Giant, Robots, Ice Age, the two seasons of Samurai Jack, some Jimmy Neutron episodes, blah blah blah. Too many DVDs for my own good. I plan on picking up Howl's Moving Castle tomorrow to see what it is like.
