Since quite a few of us are getting fairly long review lists, I revised the 'All Review' page so that it breaks the reviews down by animation type and then orders them from highest to lowest star value. I think it makes the page considerably easier to digest and it offers some interesting insight as to what we like and what we don't.
For instance: here's my All Reviews (http://keyframeonline.com/forum/member.php?do=allreviews&u=1) page.
I believe it was Monkeyfunk who first suggested formatting the page this way some time ago, but this is the first opportunity I've had to implement it. :woohoo:

Now all we need is to get all the "star" ratings aligned in the same column (nice and neat). :)

I thought it was you who first suggested it

I think it might have been me, although I remember asking if the list could be put in alphabetically order so it would scan better - or something like that.
This works well though and points you to what the reviewer feels is the 'good stuff' to be watching. :)

hehe. you're all brilliant. It's easy to forget where the good ideas come from.
but yea, it was interesting going through all the top reviewers... seeing what the spread was and where people put their four-star ratings.
I'll see what I can do about implementing Grafspee's suggestion of a tabled format as well... shouldn't be too hard.

My suggestion was mostly in jest. Since all the reviews are sorted from high-to-low, it isn't really needed. It would make the list of reviews look neater, for what that is worth.

In the post our army of reviewers, we discussed the new standings of all of the reviewers. I think we should have a page that shows the best-worst of the TV shows, feature films, etc. just like the reviewers go from most reviews-least. I hope you get my meaning.
Have all of the animation categories have such a page.

I don't know that you'd actually get the results you're after. A great many of the profiles don't have enough reviews to qualify for a listing... we usually keep it between three and five reviews at minimum since anything less makes the star-rating too volatile... not really representative of much of anything.
I really don't understand how we're getting over a thousand visitors a day and so few new reviewers...

I'd put the ones with no reviews at the bottom...

My only suggestion would be to rank the films alphabetically, not chronologically. Otherwise I don't think it matters that much, because I doubt many people look at members' personal rankings.

If we were just going to make an alphabetical listing with star-ratings, you could simply take release year out of the profile listing pages and replace it with the star-value.
I don't know how useful that would be though... TV series has over 300 profiles and Feature Films is close to 300 now... I can't imagine that many people actually leaf through all those pages from start to finish. A significant portion of our page views now is the search engine, so I think most people are just jumping straight to what they want to find.

I'm not sure we're on the same page. I was talking about ranking an individual's review on their personal information page, by chronology versus alphabetical order. I sense you're talking about something else.
