I'm done figuring out Cartoon Network. I've lost my faith in them. Seems like Dragon Hunters has dropped off the radar with barely five episodes aired. So now besides Adult Swim, the only thing worth watching on Cartoon Network is Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends. It figures. The tv world once again has a way of proving the theory that the golden age of cartoons is long gone, that decent shows get axed before their prime while junk shows are allowed to fester and air as repeats. Blech. They're seriously asking for Nickelodeon to kick their behinds. Thank God they own Avatar and not Cartoon Network.

This always happens at some point, channels managers only ever look at a program’s ratings, so if a new show gets a bad rating, then it is more likely to be more likely to be canned before it has a chance. The one that are already made of course don’t cost much money to repeat, and so no real lost. However is this the case, no, in the long run this risk-aversion strategy is bad for the industry, as it means no one will want to innovate and that leads to stagnation and that means no-one is going to watch.
The only cure is when someone releases a good quality show that gains excellent ratings. However, sad as it is, this is the exception rather than the norm for the whole media entertainment industry. Maybe Avatar’s ratings can convince the other cable channels that a well produced show is worth it, that’s supposing that its ratings are good.

There is no way of expressing of how pissed off Iam at CN. They cancelled "Justice League Unlimited", the best action show they ever had.

Wow. You'd figure this would happen sooner or later.
I agree with Toonboy: Adult Swim and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends are the only good things on CN nowadays. And trust me, it was sad when a couple of months ago CN started showing live-action films and even . . . almost PG-13-ish stuff (AKA Jessica Rabbit from the film Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, which they often showed at peak times on weekends when kids would be watching CN). That was different.
I think that getting desperate for high ratings.
I do agree that Nick is probably getting much of CN's ratings. They have some better, higher-quality cartoons. Even though Nick airs a bit of live-action as well, it's better than some of the animated stuff on CN . . . IMO.
But that's my thoughts on it.
