This is probably really good for Aardman. They were going to need some company in the US to distribute their films. Sony is probably less likely to interfere with Aardman during the making of a film (one of Aardman's sore spots with Dreamworks).

It'll be interesting to see what films that Aardman comes up with in the next few years.
