AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE (COLON): MOVIE FILM FOR THEATRES is, without question, the worst animated film of the year. It may be the worst film (of any type) I’ve ever seen.

And this is coming from the most mild-mannered animation critic of them all. Yowch.

Aqua Teen it's a enjoyable series, but there's few episodes that you have a storyline that works all it's running-time - and we're talking about episodes that are 10-minutes long. I really don't see how (and why they think they should) they can stretch the premise to a feature film.

The series always seemed to me so simple and not-meant-to-be-taken-seriously. A lousy money-maker film ruins this idea.

...I do like the series, and while I agree that a feature-length movie coming from a collection of short, sporadic episodes is risky, it wouldn't be fair for me to assume it's a bad production on account of that alone. Jerry Beck's review is not enough to stop me from seeing the movie, either; he even admitted he's only seen one episode of the series, and frankly I disagree with his opinion of its brand of humor.

As a fan of the series I have faith that the creators who have entertained me on TV can entertain me in a theater...even if that faith turns out to be mislead. I for one plan to see the movie. :P
