I remember watching these films as a child. The animation has that story book feel to it, and beatrix potter`s characters vividly come to life in these entertaining tales for children.

The shorts are well done and have a genuine british feel to them. One of the better classic children`s tales turned to film.

Ah being British you grow up with the Beatrix Potter stories so it was nice to find out they were being animated.

The animation is top notch it looks like Miss Potters illustrations come to life.

The music is nice it adds to and never subtracts from what is happening on screen (unlike my beloved Farthing Wood)

The voice acting is alright the voice actors do a good job but sometimes i feel they were trying to cram to many big British names in such a short series.

I had love the books from Beatrix Potter as a little kid and I love them now as an adult (I am 21). I have watched the series along time ago, and from that moment I absolutely love it!I also like to say that the voice acting for this show is absolutely top notch (it really goes well with the characters from every story in the show), and the beautiful animation put into it; and an excellant music score too. My favorite story/episodes are :

· The Tale Of Two Bad Mice And Johnny Town-Mouse

Excellent series of shorts. I've loved these since I was a small child and I got to several of the shorts again recently to find out I STILL love them.
The stories are great, the characters are great, the animation is great, everything about these shorts are awesome.
I still have my old VHS copies of these (all nine of them!). I plan on watching the rest of them.
Great stuff. Classics. Worth watching more then once.
