Now I don't get this. Ultimate Showdown is, right now, the second-lowest rated webcartoon on the site - it's narrowly beaten out by Happy Tree Friends - with three one-star reviews, raising the question of how those reviewers would rate
Larry the Leper. But yet the highest-rated webtoon is Jibjab's This Land. And I really can't see a particularly big distinction between the two: they're both just silly diversions that aren't really top 5 or bottom 5 material. The chief difference is that one has crudely animated, silly-looking photographs and the other has crudely animated, silly-looking vector drawings.
(okay, you could probably argue that This Land is more relevant as it stars politicians instead of superheroes, but c'mon - it strips Bush and Kerry down to "the idiot" and "the guy who brags a lot". They might just as well be Godzilla and Batman.)
So, yeah - badly animated, inconsistently-drawn, totally meaningless Flash cartoon where Batman gets into a fight with an undead Abraham Lincoln and a typical rhyming couplet goes "he delivered a kick that could shatter bones/into the crotch of Indiana Jones"? You say that like it's a bad thing... ;)
