O.k just like I got some falling to to do this works better as a song other than a video.

The animation was shoddy but i really loved the music it gets an extra half star for mentioning Hulk Hogan my friends boyfriend.

Now I don't get this. Ultimate Showdown is, right now, the second-lowest rated webcartoon on the site - it's narrowly beaten out by Happy Tree Friends - with three one-star reviews, raising the question of how those reviewers would rate Larry the Leper. But yet the highest-rated webtoon is Jibjab's This Land. And I really can't see a particularly big distinction between the two: they're both just silly diversions that aren't really top 5 or bottom 5 material. The chief difference is that one has crudely animated, silly-looking photographs and the other has crudely animated, silly-looking vector drawings.

(okay, you could probably argue that This Land is more relevant as it stars politicians instead of superheroes, but c'mon - it strips Bush and Kerry down to "the idiot" and "the guy who brags a lot". They might just as well be Godzilla and Batman.)

So, yeah - badly animated, inconsistently-drawn, totally meaningless Flash cartoon where Batman gets into a fight with an undead Abraham Lincoln and a typical rhyming couplet goes "he delivered a kick that could shatter bones/into the crotch of Indiana Jones"? You say that like it's a bad thing... ;)

Generally I have low expectations for web animation, but this not only fails to spectacularly reach those, but it has managed to convinced me to honor Happy Tree Friends with a additional half star, the first time I’ve increased a rating to any profile; and to one I loath at that (I've sinced revoked the extra half star).

The song may indeed remind some people of Weird Al Yanovic (see Athena below), but whoever wrote this is not in Al’s league and certainly not up to his ability for the beautifully inane. Mind you it great when you compare it to what’s happening onscreen.

Watching badly rendered, at times unrecognizable and mostly static cult icons battle it out is frankly a pointless setup which only appeals to manic fanatics who are obsessed with the abilities of their fictional character of choice. I’ve never had much interest in character A Vs. character B when they have nothing to do with each others world or otherwise are both characters on the same moral side.

Quality control is non existent, and the outcome is pointless, there is no reason for its existence outside of its own creators ego.

I'm with P.C. on this... if I heard this song on its own, I might find it mildly amusing--kinda reminds me of something in the Weird Al Yanovic vein... but the quality of the animation here ruins it for me. No grace, no sense of caricature... has a kind of bumbling along, 'good enough' quality to it.

Final Analysis: Skip it.

This is the key reason why I hate alot of net-toons,they are string of bad animation, too much dialogue, and dumb pop-culture references. This "cartoon", if you can even call it that, is just a dumb song about several famous pop-culture figures getting into a poorly animated fight.Maybe I am being a bit closed minded, but this is just more internet garbage you see all the time. The even sadder fact is, more and more of this crap is passing as professional and is actually getting on TV. I admit I do like "South Park", but it actually makes intelligent social commentary in a FUNNY way.

Semi catchy song. Animation is mediocre.
Gory for those animated gore fans.
