I was afraid of this movie at first. Afraid because I had a friend who made a student animation with the same theme as the movie, aged superheros trying to be superheros again. So, I wasn't sure if Pixar would do the same old fogey type gags here. Thankfully, Pixar surpassed my assumptions.

The movie had great action sequences that rival live-action features. Upon my second viewing of the movie, I noticed how they sped up some scenes, but that didn't matter. The animation is great (as always). There was great emotional scenes that didn't feel trite or fake.

I think this is the best movie Pixar has put out thus far. I simply loved this movie.

What's there to say about this film but "Wow!"? Being a movie about superheroes and supervillains, The Incredibles could've easily devolved into mind numbing cliches. But this is Pixar we're talking about. And with Brad Bird at the helm, you know you're in for something special. The creators did a fantastic job of making the main characters seem human and not superhero cliches, but not giving in to sentimental sap. This movie also never uses tired jokes but instead has wonderful and witty banter. The Incredibles is a loving tribute to the superhero and 60s style James Bond-ish gadgetry and derring do. It's also careful not to do too much too soon. But don't worry. While this movie starts out slow at first, it soon has you marvelling at wonderful, fast paced scenes full of action and drama.

Take Pixar's stunning, eye-popping visuals and mix it with Brad Bird's flair for directing stories that are hilarious, heart-warming and just little a bit more 'mature' than your average animated film... what do you get? My personal version of heaven on earth.

In a 'catch-phrase' that has perhaps too often been used in recent reviews around the web, "The Incredibles" does definitely live up to its name. I never in a million years thought I would say this about any animated film but I sincerely hope that there will be a sequel because those characters just deserve to have another outting. Edna Mode--the tiny and yet slightly psychotic fashion designer, Syndrome--the superhero fan turned evil genius... and, of course, the Incredibles themselves. I think Helen/Elastigirl was my favourite--the harried mother-figure who can feed the baby and drop-kick bad guys in the same day.

The animation is... well, flawless. Whether it's action sequences or just absolutely priceless pieces of character animation, there is no one in this business that can top Pixar.

Still, of course, it's the story that puts this film over the top. I mean, an ex-superhero having a mid-life crisis... so great.

I saw this film on opening night. I was tempted to leave writing this review until after I see it again... and possibly again after that... but I think you should know that this is a film that lives up to its hype. If you haven't seen it yet, what are you waiting for?

A very well done film. :P The cast and animation were awesome. I was amazed at how life-like hair and clothing looked. Pixar's animation has really come a long ways since it's debut in 1996 with Toy Story.

The Incredibles has a fast paced story with laughs a plenty, and a good moral. The characters are quite enjoyable. I don't think I ever found myself getting bored in this movie.

I enjoyed this movie a lot and would recommend it to anyone.

Pixar's back in the theatres with what will be the hottest animated film of the year. We are not talking about Looney-Tooney ( No offense to Warner Brother fans), this is the real deal.
Every film that Pixar made so far, have made improvement after improvement to see how far computer animation can take the audience. And this movie shows how far Pixar can go. And it's not just the animation that blew me away, it's also the action-packed story.
The story takes place with old-school super-heroes, the kind that every adult remembers when they bought ten-cent comic books as kids. And this action-packed-roller-coaster-ride-thriller will forever be the Pixar Disney classic. What I'm saying is watch this movie. I guarantee you will not be dissapointed.
