OK. I barely have memories of this old special, one of the things I remember changing channels in hope of finding something interesting in those neverending christmas marathons and crashing into this: the scrapy, "sketch" old style of animation caught my attention. Also, and perhaps the thing that made me still got memories of it, its his story: depressive. I can't tell you more but I remember the characters (the little bear who was stubborn to death and the doll who was cute to tears) get in one hit of the life next to the other in that "cold night of christmas" (dammn if was sad).
RATE: 3 Stars, hope that someone could get you a better review than this. But I can say this, the story was good and the characters are charming to levels that will get your guts, because this my fiends even years after I see its its not a happy Disney, not even a Pixar (that means top-notch visuals and corny metaphors). Yet, I vaguely remember an optimistc ending and some impressive backgrounds.
