There's not too much to say about this except that it was...okay.
Part of the trouble with midquels, of course, is that the outcome is never in doubt. And the new characters...you have to ask yourself why they never appeared in the movie, if they 'really happened.'
Young Tarzan becomes seperated from his family, who believe that he is dead. Tarzan struggles to live on his own, and soon has run-ins with a family of ape-delinquent outcasts. Tarzan discovers that being without a family is no life for an ape.
Fine for kids, rather tedious and predictable for adults. Doesn't disgrace the original, but doesn't live up to it, either.
