It's hard to rate the Ewoks...I remember loving it as a child, and I saw a video of it a few years ago, when I still thought it was pretty decent, though maybe not to the avaerage adult (unless they are a toon and/or Star Wars fan.) The cartoon did a good job of expanding the Endor world and new creatures and areas, while giving the fuzzy teddy bears individual personalities.

I also have bad memories of a second season, though, where they changed the characters (both in color and personality) and the stories became very weak.

My memory of this show is extremely fuzzy, but if the "movie" is anything to go on, Ewoks is actually a decent cartoon. Granted, it's not very Star Wars authentic, considering its lack of stars or. . . wars. But it's bouncy, harmless, funny, and has good characterization and decent animation(when compared with the other cartoons from the 80s). Of course if this never makes it onto DVD in a proper volume format, then I won't lose any sleep over it.
