To me, this was one of the best Tex Avery's short I've ever seen. It has some very mature jokes which are smart and that will leave you smiling for hours.

The fact that it starts with the tradicional childish story, Little Red Riding Hood and then changes to Red Hot Riding Hood gives the audience a glimpse of the real intentions of Tex Avery and the need for adult cartoons.

Of course it's full of Avery's gags and the usual humour, which is fairly enough to sit down and watch this short.

It has some memorable moments, like the wolf's reaction to Red Hot Riding Hood, and the Granny's persecution.

A must see for everyone.

I have always considered Tex Avery to be the first to bring Adult cartoons into the public,well, at least at MGM. I mean, just look at his cartoons featuring the Wolf character and the hot red head chick, The Wolf is a personification of every horny man the world and wanna take a wild guess of what that "boing" sound was suppose to mean every time he saw a hot chick? I think I made my point. But Tex was a genius at comedy whose techniques are ripped off constantly then and now ( mouth dropping and eye popping)and this short is an example of when he was at his best.
