Wow,this one takes me back. even though I was born after this series came out, my father used to get these episodes on video.

Now,the show started off pretty good.But,it just didn't work as a TV series. The plots were basically just stopping Murky and Lurky, who in my opinion, the most enjoyable characters on the show.Rainbow Brite and the color kids I really could care less for. They really were just nothing but cutely drawn characters who spread color to the world. It's a concept that really gets old really fast.However, Murky and Lurky kept this show from completely going down hill. There antics always made laugh and actually kept me interested in this series when I was a little kid.What I do reccomend watching is the movie, "Raibow Brite and the Star Stealer". It's actually as good as the pilot episode.

Overall,it's pretty weak as a TV series. I only reccomend the pilot episode and the movie.
