My favourite of Disney's more contemporary cartoons. Pepper Ann was lively, with a cast of colourful and crazy characters. Although she was kooky, and a total slacker, there was something endearing about the title character. You just couldn't help but fall in love with the dorky tween with the wild red hair and olive skirt.
I'd definitely buy this one if it were on DVD.

I tottally loved it! It was so funny me and my sis used to watch it after school and we still laugh when we bring up the episodes they need to put it back on!

surprisingly enjoyable, but sometimes daunting and repetitive. Even so, their were a few episodes that really stood out in terms of great humor and entertainment. this is the kind of show i would watch if there was nothing else interesting on.

I admit it...I was a Pepper Ann fanatic in middle school. I watched this show religiously. Most of the episodes were pretty darn funny, with a satisfying amount of adult humor to amuse most anyone.

I enjoyed the show, but some of the things Pepper Ann did were just plain obnoxious. She gets kind of irritating as a main character after awhile, but hey, I'd assume any 7th grader would.

Stereotyped? Hmmm. A bit, I think, but nothing too bad. I did have problems with some elements and characters, including situations where the solution was so damn obvious I wanted to jump into the TV and yell at them.

But hey, I'm sensitive. This show was great, did NOT belong on such ranks as Toon Disney, and deserved more credit for it's time.

I was a fan of Pepper Ann the majority of my later middle school years. I found it to be just a funny little cartton. Much better than most cartoons on now of days

Like most of Disney other cartoons, Pepper Ann has wacky, often ridiculous characters and situations. The show doesn't have stereotypes so much as it has really wacky caricatures. The show portrays school in a more realistic light than Recess does. However where this cartoon shines is in its very witty and often correct observances and remarks about culture and society. Consider the episode where Pepper Ann's homegrown vegetables wins over Dieter's bioengineered ones. Or the one where Pepper Ann struggles to shed her love of Halloween for fear of looking childish. And the episode with the bra is a classic of animation that should not be missed. Pepper Ann is easily a cartoon with humor for adults as well as children. And even though the characters are often over the top, they're still often very strongly realized. Pepper Ann and her friends are all very easy to like and Pepper Ann's mom and even Aunt Janie are very strong and non-stereotypical. All in all, Pepper Ann is a cartoon classic that went out with a bang instead of fading into obscurity.
