Everyone has a little (if not a lot) of Foamy in them. Foamy, the star of Neurotically Yours is an angry, almost sadistic squirrel bent on world domination. Foamy lives with a "goth-chick" named Germaine, who either adds or detracts (I still don't know) from the sanity of this often bizarre cartoon.

Neurotically Yours can be split into two types of a show. The first concerns some sort of "plot", often involving Germaine, one of Foamy's psychotic squirrely friends, Foamy's cult and Tech Support. The second type is Foamy's rants, which cover topics such as drugs, babies, innuendo, language and door holding. I prefer the second because I often find myself agreeing with Foamy, no matter how violent (and yes they always involve some form of described violence) they become. I think everyone feels the way Foamy does at times, and it’s nice to watch something where you just say "yes... that's so true."

I don't really enjoy the "plot" driven episodes as much because they usually contain some form of bodily humor. And that kind of humor has never really been my cup of tea.

Neurotically Yours certainly follows a formula, but that formula has a certain amount of unpredictability. I know that l will definitely continue to watch Neurotically Yours to see what Foamy will say next.

Neurotically yours is generally that series who manages to be both weird and acid, but still be funny in it's own way. Probably for it's general sick and "in the face" attitude and the fact that it seems that the creator (or creators who knows) find the way to say almost everything they want in the format of flash animation.
So in many ways the funny and insulting attitude of Foamy can be that "alter-ego" (or weird friend) who no one accepts, but you know his opinion it's worthwhile in it's own bizarre fashion. Either way the series it's great and probably refreshing, just as smart entertainment or simple waste of time (probably both).
Rate: 3.5 stars, almost perfect, but it's not the show for everyone and specially loses points in the animation department, where although being original in some elements (the character sometimes touches the screen and even "grabs" the frame of the screen) becomes too simple and repetitive, as well the music, just nothing out of the ordinary.

Pretty good animation, clever characters, witty writing, and genuinely funny antics combine in this animated rant-fest. Many of the arguments Foamy makes are rather opinionated and I can imagine a lot of people who might disagree with him, but I have nothing against an artist who isn't afraid to speak his mind. My rating for it is conflicted; on the one hand, I enjoy myself every time I visit the site. But on the other hand, the character of Germaine seems to alternate between the role of an intellectual (though often frustrated) observer of Foamy and his friends, and the far less interesting role of a blatantly sexual conception who plays with her body with the curiosity of, say, a young male animator who doesn't get out much. Hmmm.

Anyway it's a pretty funny series that has originality and attitude, and is mostly deserving of its cult fanbase.

When I read the description -- and the viewer warnings -- I was expecting the squirrly version of 'Beavis and Butthead'... to my surprise these are actually quite funny and I found myself laughing out loud on a number of occasions.

Foamy is fairly vile as a character, but oddly sympathetic. He is our inner raging squirrel saying all the things we've observed about the world but are too polite--on most occasions anyways--to say out loud.

The animation doesn't really add much to these shorts... often I just let the short run in the background and listened to the dialogue... you get 99 percent of the humour just with that.

Very entertaining to have a tree critter doing everything from craving bagels with cream cheese to pwning people with walnuts to answering fan mail to ticking off his gothic female owner Germaine and promising squirrely wrath upon those who get on his bad side! He's also chock full of rants about reality shows, Fat-Kins diet, cups of coffee having 15 different languages on them telling the buyer its hot, and other things. I can relate to many issues that PO him.

Foamy has three male squirrel friends he hangs with sometimes. Most of the time he's nosing in on what Germaine's doing at the house or tagging along when she goes in public. Foamy runs a card cult to spread his name across the globe and gather minions. Another name he proudly brandishes is "Your Lord and Master".

The Foamy the Squirrel shorts seem to be one of the smarter and funnier things coming out of New Grounds, but that really isn't saying much.Foamy's Rants are enjoyable and somewhat amusing,he dose make some reasonable points and the delivers them in a humorous way.I wouldn't go nuts these shorts but they do provide some sort of entertainment.

Don't go drinking something while watching these webtoons. You just might laugh yourself so sick that it might pass out your nose. Foamy's high-pitched helium voice adds a perfect compliment to the constant swearing and makes it seem that much more bizarre and funny, and his to-the-point, in-your-face attitude makes Cartman seem tame.
