I was shocked, surprised and flabbergasted by the negativity I heard on the Internet; I've watched this show, and frankly I find it AWESOME! and don't get me wrong, all of you 'cause I still love the classic Looney Tunes characters, and the classic cartoons too; along with this action-packed show.

Lexi Bunny (the descendant of Lola Bunny) is my favorite "Loonatic" and Bugs Bunny's descendant Ace Bunny (he is so cool with his sword). My favorite villains from the show are : Black Velvet, the Mistress of Darkness and Weathervane, you know her powers reminded me of Storm from
X-Men (only evil).

A show that has been surrounded by controversy from the very start. Even since it was first announced in fact, more so than even the Duck Dodgers series; a series who had to endure name changes and a complete visual overhaul, the later thanks to the efforts of an eleven-year-old boy and his petition.

Teen Titans meets Looney Tunes is the easiest way to describe this, but the show has none of the merits of either, the action falls flat and seems the opposite of superfluous, wit is also pretty much nowhere to be seen despite the head writer's past credits on shows like Talespin. Most of the superpowers seem tacked on (Ace’s laser eyes) where others are lazily thought out and/or arbitrary.

These character are, for all intents and purposes, suppose to be like their Looney Tune counterparts. This is a bad idea because it invites comparisons, ones which aren’t going to be flattering toward a show like this. Ace sounds almost, but not quite like Bugs, even stealing his lines as if it’s genetic; but his attempts at wisecracks have nothing on Bugs. Danger is the butt of the jokes and never allowed a victory like Jones’ Daffy and he never takes a hit, teleporting out of the way just in time. And Lexi is as pointless as her counterpart of Lola Bunny, offering as little as the original did in Space Jam. I'll leave the others.

It fails to be an success as a action piece, being too much of a one-dimension a-to-b journey to give the plots any credos, and it lacks the sophistication of what it pretends is its forebears. Stuck in a no-mans land between two genres that have much more superior products it is a waste of the creators’ time and a waste of the viewers. The fact that it has got a second series doesn't fill me with confidence that it'll improve from what I've seen.

For a corporation with such a high quality history, Warner Bros. of late have done themselves more injuries than successes of late; transforming the Looney Tunes into a group of generic supers is certainly not going to do them any favours, either in the short or long term. Warner’s heyday of Animaniacs and Batman: The Animated Series remain in the past and although I’d choose this over Krypto the Superdog any day, it is a completely, utterly forgettable series; something which its supposed forefathers never were.

That's all folks!
