I disagree with the former reviews. While Stitch has a Glitch was not up to the original, I thought it came close to being a worthy sequel. One too many characters have crisis of self-doubt, perhaps, to the point where you're muttering, "Okay, stop pushing that button." But overall it's fun to watch. The movie is mainly from Stitch's point of view instead of lilo's
Stich is a reformed character, living happily with his family, when something goes horribly wrong. Stitch begins having bursts of oncontrollable berserk behavior, and snapping out of them, with no apparent awarenesse of the destruction he has caused. His Jekyll-and-Hyde moments leave him confused and frightened, especially since Lilo believes they are just voluntary misbehavior. Stitch is in danger of ruining his home, and through no fault of his own--when he was made, something went wrong.
It's really a sort of metaphor for mental illness, and well-handled, in my opinion. In the end, only the love and support of his family can help Stitch.
The film could have used a bit of after-the-fact editing, but all in all it was a better sequel than I had hoped to see.
