I'm not a die-hard fan myself, but there are plenty of people who are, and with good reason. The premise is simple enough; an "average" good-looking cheerleader high school girl also happens to be one of the world's most cunning and skilled super-agents, equipped with all the high-tech gear and martial arts mastery that you might expect. I'd say this is also one of the first Disney cartoons to start openly challenging certain social stereotypes. For example, the female cheerleader protag is not ditzy, helpless, or swooning, but is actually strong, confident, and capable. The sidekick (Ron Stoppable) is the male for once, although in my opinion he tends to be a little TOO helpless, and sometimes I find myself wondering why he's around in the first place if all he ever does is get captured or screw things up. Then you throw a naked molerat in the group just for kicks, and you've got yourself the Kim Possible crime-fighting team. Personally, my favorite aspect about this show is the villains. I think they're genuinely funny, incredibly original, and are still dangerous enough to take over the world...assuming there weren't people like Kim around to stop them. They're also an interesting classification, because they resemble the thematic villains you would traditionally find in a superhero storyline. However Kim Possible is more of a hero than a superhero, since she has no superpowers. Anyway it works out in the end, and I think the villains add a lot to the quality of the show. If you're wondering how safe this show is for your kids to watch, I'd say it's definitely a teenager-friendly show; I wouldn't personally advise showing it to anyone under age 13. Of course it is a Disney cartoon, so it's not like there's anything controversial that you need to worry about. But even for a Disney cartoon it has enough fighting action and slightly flirtatious plotlines to qualify as a "teenage-or-older" cartoon, in my opinion. There's certainly no upper limit to age, either; adults of any age can always get a kick out of watching this fun cartoon. In conclusion, Kim Possible gets a solid three stars. Nothing spectacular, but definitely an all-around good cartoon series. |

The bad thing is that the movie "Kim Possible: So the Drama" was supposed to be the end of the series, but they brought it back for a 4th season. And if you have seen that movie, you can see that they kind of dug themselves a hole. All that aside, its still a very enjoyable series! 3 stars! |

While there are some hilarious moments and truly witty writing, the whole show just feels sort of weird. Like a sort of kiddified James Bond. Right down to the "that can't be real" villains. Kim Possible herself is just too perfect, and Ron is. . . the complete opposite. An okay and decent cartoon, otherwise. |

Her and her sidekick, Ron Stoppable, are totally right for eachother and they won't admit it at all. The only way to make this show even more exciting is to add a little more romance in there between Ron and Kim. |

I hate Kim, I hate Ron, I hate the stupid "naked mole rat" thing...(I mean what was UP with that?) The whole idea was that Kim was a cheerleader with special powers and pranced around saving the world from rather innocuous villians. Her sidekick Ron was a whiny guy who follows her and ate a lot. The plots were basically cliches used in EVERY cartoon show you'll watch. (for instance, the body-switching episode. did they ever use the bathroom, by the way?) I always dislike cartoon shows in which the humor is bland, the plot is predictable, and everything is just "perfect" and just happens to be there when they need it. Pass. |

And more. Soon, I began taping it every night. The show is very addictive. Pros: + Very, very funny. + The villians aren't just one shots- they keep coming bad(which is good, since my favourite character is Shego). + The action is very fast pace, and it's just fun to watch. Cons: + Kim and Ron are the steryotyped hero and side-kick. Ron is a goofball who doesn't always think seriously until its too late, while Kim is the one who always saves the day. Except for when Rufus, the naked mole rat does it for her. + I don't really like the drawing style, but that's just preference. + It sometimes just doesn't make sense. |

A high school girl lives the normal life, until she gets a weird message on the web. Faster than a beeper page, she becomes the secret agent Kim Possible, and along with her pal Ron Stoppable, and his naked mole rat, Rufus, they go and fight bad guys. It sure as hell seems a bit more original than some other teen cartoons/shows. A lot of the characters are really funny, including the villains. A lot of it puts a humorous spin on pop culture, which I like. And the art is nice and smooth, so your eyes won't want to hide in your sockets after five minutes. The only thing I found wrong with the show was the main character, Kim. Sorry, but her character seems so... perfect. And stereotypical. I mean, she's a pretty cheerleader, deals with her brothers, acts like social life is everything, etc. Sorry, but a lot of teen girls actually don't think like that. I should know! ^_^ Other than that one flaw though, this is a gem, and that's rare in Disney nowadays. And yes, it is a naked mole rat. |
