This series could've been something like an animated Roswell, with complexities and a focus on the central character. Instead it turns into just another alien invasion and conspiracy movie with only a handful of people knowing the truth and being the last defense against the enslavement of mankind. Why the aliens targetted only America is beyond me. The premise is certainly interesting. It was the first and probably last animated prime time drama, short of the animes on Adult Swim. However this cartoon is pretty tame, which showed when this "prime time" cartoon jumped into the suit of a hacked up Kids WB version. So if you're going to watch a mundane animated scifi space opera, at least watch the original version. The animation isn't vibrant, but it's not jerky. However the computer graphics are bare bones and stick out pretty badly. Most likely this series will never be completed. It could've become something much more.
