just saw Heidi's song a few months ago. I was expecting to be a bad movie from the number rating from IMDB but I quickly learned that system is so unbelievable that I ignored and paid attention to the user comments...

while not up to par with Charlotte's Web . it's an enchanting story.the Grandfather was my favorite character. he was so gruff in the beginning warmed up to Heidi. only to be taken by her aunt to the snooty Mrs .Rottenmier and her butler Sebastian (who looks a bit like Shrek) so she can be a companion for Clara who is confined to a wheelchair ( the reason is not known in the movie). soon her friends come and save Heidi and Clara and revolt against Rottenmeir(who is looking after Clara while her father is on vacation) .

though she might be a little too sweet as far as kids go. Heidi's Spirit remains strong through this nice movie.. only real drawback is there's way too many songs.
