This is a bit more like it. Felix moons a row of hot dogs, encourages a schoolboy to ignore his homework, and gets so drunk he hallucinates. And this was during prohibition! Being over 80 years old, this short suffers from unavoidable cultural problems, in the same way as any pop culture product of the era does today. The trick is trying to take those apparent faults into account. On an objective level Felix Finds Out tends to meander a bit and rely on break-out gags, and the ending doesn't really contain the sort of punchline that we'd expect today - but this was universal for the time, in jokes and cartoons as well as animation.

This is back in the days when Felix was entering his peak - the mid 20's. Wild ideas would fly out of nowhere and characters would frequently 'break the fourth wall' by grabbing hold of parts of the dialog and turning them into props. You don't see much of that in this short, but it's still a fun few minutes watching Felix find out 'what makes the moon shine'.
