I've only seem about five episodes, but here we go...
Quite disappointing if you look at the two 16-bit games, which have great jokes and a marvelous cartoony style. It's all here, but everything it's so much more pallid. The animation is too simple, so it's the drawing. And we're talking about a video-game hero that psychically mimes the classic cartoon-style.
The plots are forgettable, but somewhat enjoyable. The humor is flat, dismissing all the nonsense of the games - actually, there's some jokes that are kinds of "fake" nonsense, like the cow gag, which consist in cows falling over some character. Could be real funny side by side with lots of good jokes, but it die alone.
It's a poor and disappointing adaptation of the game, and looking at it as being just a cartoon series doesn't help. Too bad, it could be real great if they managed to capture the spirit of the game.
