Now remember this was before "Aladdin from Disney", although after the original Aladdin tale. But despite some similarities this movie is pretty damn good, specially if you like DuckTales. "Treasure of the Lost Lamp" is a very enjoyable film that no animation entuthiast should miss. If you are into the adventures of Scrooge and his grand nephiews and grand niece you probably have already seen it, but if you haven't, this is a must see.

TREASURE OF THE LOST LAMP was the very first movie I saw in a cinema so it's kinda 'natural' that it holds a special place in my heart. I was madly in love with the DUCK TALES TV show at that time and my father took my to the cinema as a suprise to see TREASURE OF THE LOST LAMP. I was blown away. My favourite characters on a big screen in a highly entertaining adventure. What else could you ask for?
The animation delievered by the company DISNEY MOVIETOONS (btw, did they made another movie after this one or was it their only child?) is very good, at least at the beginning. After a while it steps down to the level of the TV show but it's still very good. Actually, I like this version of ALADDIN more than the feature Disney produced a few years later.
TREASURE OF THE LOST LAMP is a great movie which I will always love. ... Can you call this a review? Maybe not, but I wanted to raise the rating of one of my favourite animated movies. ;)
