i used to like this show but it got boring and repetive and it seems like the cartoon was the same over and over again. but the animation was good at times and bernie and corneil were likeable this could have been alot better.

An enjoyable, fun series that while never reaching the levels of true greatest, is nevertheless generally and consistently good. Most of this is due in no small part to the central character. Cornell, with his dry wit and Yorkshire accent, sounds a lot like British television and comedy writer Alan Bennett and strangely the accent fits perfectly: in much the same way that Bennett himself feels like a intellectual when you hear him.

A lot of the plots tend to find some sort of conflict between Cornell and his dim-as-you-like dog-sitter Bernie, who’s almost total lack of moral fibre and indifference to most of Cornell’s opinions makes him one of the better foils I’ve seen. His by-the-numbers standard cartoon teenager voice goes well with Cornell’s.

It’s a good show, worth watching, just don’t expect it to change you life or anything; it really just an enjoyable series, so thats the marking it'll get.

Not a classic show, but certainly enjoyable enough, with no major faults in the four or five episodes I've seen. Probably what cements it into 3 star territory for me is the dog's delightfully dry, sarcastic, working class English voice characterisation (I know it's a regional accent, but I can't pick it. He sort of looks like Gromit but sounds a bit like Wallace), compared with the human's almost uber-typical generic teenage idiot voice.

To be honest, I hadn't even noticed what this show was called, but it's one of the better ones that flickers its way across my screen unexpectedly now and again.
