I really like the Casper movie very much. This series don't bring so many of the light-hearted black humor of the film, but it got it's "gray" humor.

The characters are nicely portraited, even Casper, which brings the non-"Hi, do you wanna be my friend" persona of the movie, being just a ghost boy. The rest of the cast, like the Casper uncles, Kat and his father Dr. Harvey, got their spotlight moments, and are all enjoyable and funny characters.

The plots are simple, most of the time evolving problems with Casper in his ghost school, or focusing in some problem of Kat that Caspers helps to solve. But they were very well conducted and full of funny moments.

A refreshing take on the character, recommended to everyone.
